The Rio Linda/Elverta Community Water District is an independent special water district which serves the communities of Rio Linda, Elverta and surrounding area. The overall system infrastructure is aging, and the client base is increasing making these pump station and pipeline upgrades a priority to maintain reliable service.
Anvil Builders has been contracted to construct a new pump station and control building at Well No. 16—a new facility consisting of a new pump adding 1,500 gallons per minute of water to the system as well as a new well head, with 12 inch steel discharge & 1,800 lineal feet of 8 to 12 inch ductile iron distribution piping. In addition, the chemical and controls building, allows for rapid onsite treatment of the potable water, prior to introduction into the RLECWD services. Along with the main portion of work there is also associated paving, landscaping, and grading, security fencing and a sound wall to round out the scope of the project.
