Scott Fairgrieve

Scott Fairgrieve, a retired finance executive, has spent his entire career in the construction industry. He began by working for five years in the construction group of a west coast CPA firm. He left public accounting to serve as controller for one of his clients, and subsequently spent 25 years as CFO of a heavy civil contractor, where he helped guide the company from a small niche player to one of the largest infrastructure contractors in the western states. He has extensive experience in banking and surety relationships, strategic planning, ERP systems, and risk management.

Scott has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from Chico State University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified construction industry financial professional (CCIFP). He remains active in a variety of construction industry organizations.
